| About Us - The Dance Factory was opened in 1992. The program started out small, but grew quickly. 15 years later, nearly 300 students per year, age 3 to adult, attend classes. Regular class offerings include: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, tumbling, Pointe (special requirements) |

| Our dance season runs from Mid-August to Mid-June, similar to the academic school year. However, enrollment is allowed anytime during the year where class space is available. Special workshops are held throughout the year when Henderson County Schools have early release days from class. Camps are held some Saturdays and during the summer. The Dance Factory is home to its own dance team, which performs at many events during the school year including the Halloween and Christmas Parades, Medco's Octoberfest, and Tri-Fest. Two performing opportunities await all students of the Dance Factory: our Christmas Program held in December and our Recital which is a themed-event held in June.
