Visitors' Weeks
For the benefit of the students, classes are generally closed to viewing except for Visitor  Participation Week.  Two
weeks during the year, one visitor per student will be allowed to come into the studio during class time.  Other visitors
will need to stay at home or wait in the waiting room during this time.  Visitors will get to participate in the class with
the student.  It is a really fun experience for everyone!
Tuition Policy
The cost of dance for one year is $350.00 (based on one type of class).  Your tuition is a yearly fee divided into 10
monthly payments.  Therefore, the monthly fee you pay each month is not based on how many lessons you receive in
a month and will not be prorated for missed days or holidays.  Tuition is due on or before the 10th of the month.  A
late fee of $5.00 will be assessed to all tuition not received by the 10th, regardless of the reason it is late.  Tuition may
be paid at the counter or by mail.  Tuition is non-refundable. If tuition is 30 days past due, the student will not be
admitted to class until the account is up to date.  There will be a $20.00 fee on all returned checks.

Please notify us in writing if your child does not wish to continue regular
classes.  Written notice (by the 10th of the month)is required to avoid further
charges
Christmas Program - December 8
The performance is not mandatory, but is highly recommended as it gives students more time on stage to get used
to an audience and helps them get ready for recital.  The show, held at South Middle School, is very informal.
Costuming is very basic.  Students wear their class attire.  We let you borrow some costume extras.  The kids have a
great time!  There will be a sign up sheet at the counter several weeks before the show.  Please sign up as early as
possible so we can have plenty of time to get costumes together.  Students must maintain good attendance in order
to learn techniques and the routines for the show.  When programs are coming up, students should expect to attend
the last regular class and rehearsal (end-of-the-year show) in order to perform.
Recital -Thurs. June 5
Each dance year culminates in a recital.  The themed-event features beautiful costumes, professional lighting and
sound, and is always a big hit! Our show will be held at the Henderson Fine Arts Center.  More
information will be given out in April regarding t-shirts, tickets, videos, pictures, rehearsals, etc.   We have to order
costumes early to get them in time.  All costumes must be paid for by January 10, 2008. Costumes are expected to
cost $40-60 for child sizes and $45-65 for adult sizes.

Once a student has purchased a costume, it is expected that he/she will be in the show.  Many times our dances
include partner sections or color blocking with costumes.  To have someone drop out after the planning has been
done, can mess up the whole routine.  That, of course, is terribly unfair to the others in the class.  Before letting your
child drop out of recital, please talk to him/her about the importance of honoring a commitment.  If the two of you
decide you can’t work it out, please be courteous to the others by letting the studio know in writing no later than
January 4, 2007 so that the necessary changes can be made to the routine.

Two other important recital notes:
1.  Rehearsal is mandatory to perform in the show.
2.  All students, regardless of age, are expected to stay backstage during the
entire show while parents are asked to stay in the audience.
Dress Code
Class attire for girls - Plain, black leotard, plain pink tights, and appropriate shoes for dance discipline.  Students are
not allowed to wear ballet house shoes for class.  A

Please: No long dance skirts, no tutus, no crowns, etc.

Class Attire for boys- Plain, white t-shirt (not oversized), tucked into black sweat pants, shorts, or dance pants.

Students dressed improperly for class may be asked to observe for that day rather than participate.
